Kyobo Life Insurance announced on February 2 that its healthcare-focused subsidiary, Kyobo Dasom Care, has formed a partnership with GS Retail and will begin offering customized physical and psychological healthcare services to GS25 franchise owners nationwide starting this month.

Since 2001, Kyobo Life Insurance has been providing healthcare services to its policyholders, accumulating nearly 25 years of expertise in health management. Building on this foundation, the company launched Kyobo Dasom Care, the first dedicated healthcare subsidiary in the life insurance industry, in October 2024.

Kyobo Dasom Care is a specialized healthcare subsidiary established to enhance service quality through direct operation by Kyobo Life Insurance. The company is expanding its service scope beyond insurance customers to include employees and clients of general businesses.

Kyobo Life Insurance emphasized that its differentiated healthcare capabilities have now been recognized as competitive in the business-to-business (B2B) market, which carries significant meaning for the company.

This service is part of the win-win support system for 2026 announced by GS Retail in December 2025. Kyobo Dasom Care plans to provide GS25 franchise owners with an integrated health management solution that covers both physical and psychological well-being.

The main services include: ▲ professional medical consultations ▲ health check-up consulting and interpretation of diagnostic results ▲ health screening center reservation services ▲ medical appointment booking services ▲ accompaniment by a nurse to hospital visits, among others.

Notably, the services are available not only to the franchise owners themselves but also to their family members, including spouses, parents, and children, reflecting Kyobo Life Insurance’s core value of ‘family love.’

When a health consultation is requested, a professional nurse with experience at a general hospital provides the initial consultation, after which personalized care is coordinated with specialists, clinical nutritionists, clinical psychologists, and exercise professionals.

The program offers comprehensive support, not only for physical health but also for lifestyle improvement and psychological stress relief. In the event of major illnesses such as cancer, a nurse will directly accompany the patient to hospital appointments as part of a specialized service.
